MOKULUA ISLANDS

The 2 Mokulula Islands which are known as Mokiunui (North Mokulula ) and Mokiuiki South Mokulula are accessible by both kayak and sailing from Lanikai Beach. As both islands are seabird sanctuaries the public are only allowed access to Mokiunui during daylight hours, sail away to peace and tranquillity!

HANAUNA BAY

The Hanauna Bay has been declared a protected marine life conservation and underwater park. If your new to scuba diving or snorkelling this is the best place to learn as it’s a protected cove. You will be amazed at the diverse marine life and the rich coral reef.

Hanauna Bay is also exceptional for the more experienced diver, as the unique reef extends throughout the cove and into deeper water. For the historians the bay floor is the crater of an ancient volcano that flooded when the wall collapsed and the ocean took over! For those that just wish to relax you will definitely enjoy the sandy beach which is perfect for sunbathing! If you are feeling like some exercise after you may like to try one of the hiking trails, which extend along the coastline providing breathtaking views.

MANOA FALLS

Manoa Falls trail is a spectacular place to visit, the falls tumble down vertically 150 feet into a small pool. The Manoa Falls trail is one of the most popular hikes in Honolulu and its easily accessible from Waikiki, just a short distance out of Waikiki and you can feel your in a totally different place! Surrounded by a tropical rainforest enjoying all it has to offer whilst relaxing and bonding with nature. This trail can be very muddy as it rains more here than in Waikiki, so trainers, bug spray, towels, water and a change of footwear for afterwards are recommended if you are going to follow a trail here.
